Courageous Heart Acupuncture is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans.
If you have a BCBS PPO plan, I can check your benefits for you before your first visit.
Here’s what you’ll need to do to get your complimentary insurance benefit verification.
When you book your first appointment, you will enter your insurance information as you fill out your intake forms.
I’ll verify your benefits within three to five business days.
You will receive an email explaining exactly what your plan covers and what your out of pocket cost will be. If for any reason, you need to reach out to your insurance to request authorization for acupuncture coverage, I will let you know.
You’ll come into your first appointment already knowing what to expect.
Your copay or coinsurance is collected at the time of service.
Have a different plan? I can provide a superbill after your visit, which you may submit to your insurance for out of network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan.
Insurance may cover acupuncture visits, initial exams and re-exams, and cupping and gua sha when added on to your acupuncture treatment.
Please note that Cosmetic services, cupping and gua sha only visits, and self-pay session packages are not billable to insurance.
I believe that you should know what things cost before you commit. A few notes on pricing…
First visits include a longer intake conversation. Your treatment time that day may be a little shorter than follow-up visits.
Blue Cross Blue Shield is accepted for acupuncture only. If we're billing your insurance, your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your plan's copay or coinsurance.
I accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA. Payment is due at the time of service.
Cosmetic services are not billable to insurance.
This is a medical office, so tips are not accepted. If you want to say thank you, a Google review means the world.
Packages are available for acupuncture and offer a discount when you purchase multiple visits at once.
Payment plans are available through Cherry.
CANCELLATIONS
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice. You may use the patient portal to manage your appointments, including rescheduling and cancelling them.
Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, or missed entirely, are subject to a fee.

If you wake up sick, please stay home. Do not come in with a fever, an active respiratory infection, or any illness that could spread in a treatment room. Message me and we will get your appointment rescheduled.
