Courageous Heart Acupuncture is located on the traditional homelands of the Council of the Three Fires - The Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi Nations - as well as the Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Miami, and Peoria and Kaskaskia Nations, among many others who have called this land home. Chicago continues to be home to one of the largest urban Indigenous communities in the country. We recognize this history and the ongoing presence, resilience, and stewardship of Indigenous peoples here, and hold that awareness as part of how we care for this space and the people in it.
